-Sleeping patterns are established by 7-9 months of age. To prevent cavities and stop your child from learning to soothe themselves with food, avoid putting your baby to bed with a bottle containing anything but water.
-Clean your baby’s teeth just before putting them to bed.
-Avoid giving your child juice until after 12 months of age unless directed by a doctor.
-Limit sticky foods in your infant’s diet (raisins, dried fruit, gummy snacks.)
-Limit snacks to one between meals and avoid grazing.
